Computer with installed and validly licensed
Microsoft Windows XP SP2 or
Microsoft Windows Vista SP1 or higher

Microsoft Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK)

Each user of a validly licensed Microsoft OS can download and use the Microsoft Windows AIK by himself free of charge.

If EasyPE cannot find any installed Microsoft Windows AIK on the user's PC, EasyPE will download this program.

Before using EasyPE make sure that you have a validly licensed Microsoft OS like mentioned above!

Hardware

512 MB of RAM

CD Drive R/W

one USB connection preferably USB 2.0

minimum 5 GB of available hard disk space

Knowledge

For the creation and assembly of the Easy Rescue Tool System using EasyPE no special computer knowledge is required.

Miscellaneous

The blank CD-R, shipped together with your EasyPE CD package. If you don't have any CD-R medium you also can use a CD-RW medium.

All versions of EasyPE require also an USB-Stick of min. 4GByte shipped together with your EasyPE CD package.

Unrestricted Internet connection of a minimum download speed of 1000 KBit/s

Time Requirements

The first installation will request some time for the automated download, installation and assembly process.

Microsoft Windows AIK consists of an ISO image about 1.3 GByte in volume.

For which PCs is the Easy Rescue Tool suitable?

PCs with Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/2003/2003R2, Microsoft Windows Vista/2008/2008R2/2012 and Microsoft Windows 10/8

Intel compatible computers with

a minimum of 384 MByte RAM, better 512 MByte or more
a CD/DVD drive
and at least one USB connection preferably USB 2.0
